Visiting Houston is a marvelous opportunity that should not be missed by any tourist. It would a visit full of surprise and interesting tours.

Houston is the largest city in Texas and the fourth largest city all over the United States of America. Arabs constitute a considerable part of its population. They have proven to be proficient and effective, for instance there George Michael who established the famous “Woodland” project in Texas.

As you arrive in George Bush International Airport in Houston, there is a great flow of jeep cars and people showing courtesy, cheerful smiles and warm hospitality. Reaching “Four Seasons” hotel in city center, visitors are whole heartedly welcomed by the hotel staff at every point.

Now, tourists should take a rest to refresh and set off actively and vitally. The first stop will be “NASA Space Centre”, which is considered as an integral city in its own. It is a majestic and spacious center that all tourists are interested in visiting. At the center, there are fully-equipped vehicles to move visitors to the main operations’ facility, which is 7 minutes drive away from the Centre. Here, the first space craft, launched to the moon on July 20, 1969 with an 8km\hr speed, is displayed. After that, new equipment of space exploration are showcased on new rockets and space crafts that are separated with a glass wall. Going down the stairs, one can watch the portraits of prominent astronauts.

After visiting the first section of the Centre, tourists have the opportunity to buy joyful souvenirs and sit on chairs like those of astronauts to feel as if in space.

A visit to Houston would not be memorable without attending a basketball match in Toyota centre. Even if a spectator in not interested in such kind of sports, the overall atmosphere is exciting and joyful.

As for museums, Houston accommodates a great number of museums, including the “Menel” that showcases modern and grotesque items with wonderful external design. There is the “Aquarium” Museum that features all species of fishes and whales. Families should accompany their children to such museum to get knowledge about marine life.
