Rome is the capital city of Italy.it is the largest and most populous city, with a population of 2,775,250 (1991). It is located in the central-western portion of the Italian peninsula, on the Tiber river. Moreover, Rome is the headquarters of many multinational corporations and agencies and it has developed a wide spectrum of industries that generate massive financial profits and strategic previleges.

Dear tourist, on your first visit to Rome, the first destination will certainly be the Venice Court and the “Vittoriano”, a magnificent white building plastered with limestone. You will also enjoy the ancient memorial established in commemmoration of the union of Italy and given as a present for King “Viottorio Emanuele II”. It took 26 years to finish building such memorial.

The entrance fo this memorial is intersected by wide stairway leading to a spacious hall where the Rome Statue stands. At a lower level, there is the statue of the unknown soldier and you can also see the memorial hosting the colossus of King “ Viottorio Emanuele II “, established above the Rome Statue and made of gilded bronze.

Off the Venice Square, the most energetic street of Rome stretches out to Biata Dol Bobolo, meaning the square of the people.

Roaming in Rome’s streets, squares and courts, you will be dazzled by the “Trevi” Fountain occupying a large area of the court and splashing gracefully. According to Roman legends, everyone who throws a coin in the “Trevi” Fountain must return back to Rome.

The garden is visited by Roman residents to enjoy their times on holidays. It overlooks the “Vlamineo” Square, where the court of the people is lcoated. Rome is also notable for the National Museum of Modern Arts built in 1911AC.

The “Nationale” Street is, at the present time, one of the key commercial hubs in Rome. It hosts a large number of multi-choice stores, so it witnesses an uninterruptible flow of Italians and foreigners to buy different commdoties. It starts at the Court of the People and ends at the Venice Court.
